Greta spent her formative years studying first Fine Arts in Italy and then obtaining a degree and masters in Neuroscience from the University of Manchester. She then came to wildlife film making as a natural consequence of her interest in both art and the natural world.
This unusual and diverse background means Greta feels comfortable with both the technical and aesthetic side of filming and photography, but also with the most rigorous and scientific attitude required in the research of wildlife documentaries.
Having travelled extensively and witnessed first hand some of the destruction caused by human exploitation of the natural environment, Greta feels very strongly about environmental protection and uses film as a medium to tell some of the most important and compelling stories about conservation. Her most recent work (Leaving is Living) was concerned with illegal bird hunting in Sardinia and was realised for Lipu Italia (Birdlife International partner in Italy).
At Terra Conservation Films, Greta works closely with Giuseppe to ensure that our films are not only of phenomenal quality but are completed within budget and to schedule.
